Evaluation of the treatment of traumatic coxofemoral luxations in dogs using toggle pin technique

This research was conducted on 11 dogs with traumatic coxofemoral luxation. The direction of the luxations, operation's specifics, postoperative complications, and radiographic images were documented. study utilized toggle pin technique, one open reduction techniques. polyester multifilament braided suture commercial used in 3 cases, pins made kirschner wire monofilament nylon material 8 cases. Clinical monitoring lameness, pain, infection performed. In two cases where utilized, reluxation observed, while no other complications noted. without reluxation, it noted that animals their limbs comfortably 1st day, lameness scores 0 7th day. As a result findings, technique using very effective dogs' luxations.
